Hustle + Grind doesn’t equal SUCCESS

I used to believe grinding and outworking others would make me super successful. I really did.

And for years, I literally bought into this and took pride in this belief as a business strategy.

I figured it just needed ONE more day, ONE more month, ONE more year…and I’m gonna come out ahead.

Until…I started to notice the effects it had on my life…

1. It was stopping me from achieving solid results.

2. I couldn’t focus on my well-being.

3. It robbed me of precious time from my family and loved ones.

The VERY things I used to define as my benchmark for life success!

It was a massive wake up call.  I’d die trying but wouldn’t get anywhere if I didn’t flip the switch on this belief.

Because our beliefs feel true to us, it’s important to take a real inventory and challenge them.

And so I started that process myself.  I wrote down what I wanted to achieve, how my days/weeks would unfold and what it was getting me.

😵

And guess what?  It didn’t match up.  Hussle + Grind does NOT = Success

In fact, it creates more overwhelm, impatience, and disconnect from joy and purpose.  And it takes a massive toll on your career, energy, and relationships.

🤔

Now in your head this makes sense right?  Then why do most ambitious leaders think they’ll achieve different results implementing the above formula?

Let me tell you something, I’ve always wanted to achieve more by doing less. Enjoy life and not reach the end of it – ready to live.

So I shed that conventional approach and forged a new path.  One that led me to ICONIC Living!

😍

It’s amazing what we can achieve when we change our perspective.

What beliefs do you have that you feel aren’t serving your bigger purpose?

I’d love to know.  Comment below!
